I come from Beligala a remote village in the Kegalle district and joined Cargills as a trainee executive in 2001. Soon I was given the opportunity to assist the Manager at the Cargills Food City outlet in Nugegoda. Today I am a Senior Operations Manager of Cargills - Retail. Cargills has taught me many things. One learning I really hold close to my heart is that one can make a mistake once but must never repeat it. The Cargills leadership is firm but fair and they gave me every opportunity possible to keep improving myself. My career at Cargills has taught me discipline and has enriched my life in all its aspects
