Cargills Food City changes store layout for a refined new customer experience

  • Cargills Food City, has introduced a new layout at eight of its locations across the country in response to demanding and emerging trends to facilitate greater convenience to its customers.

  • The eight stores with the new experience are located in Pagoda, Kandana, Enderamulla, Gampaha, Matara, Wadduwa, Anuradhapura, Piliyandala and Kurunegala. The upgrade will improve the factors which make the supermarket appealing including a new look and feel, ample parking space and a wide range of products. In addition to the new aesthetics, the store will also be reset to make it easier to navigate the perimeter and aisles which will include new signs, flooring and decor that will highlight the updated interior. The outlet at Kandana also includes a bakery and cafe to offer customers more choice in-store.
